This is a technical project management role in which our client is looking for someone with an extensive background in core IT technologies, coupled with a history of delivering successful technical projects at all levels of complexity. The successful candidate will be based within the IT Governance Team and working closely with members of the Infrastructure, Business Systems and Service Desk teams, leading project teams comprising both internal and external suppliers to deliver on both light and complex technical projects such as core network infrastructure upgrades, core database platform upgrades or assisting implementing new core technologies.
The ideal candidate will able to use their own initiative and equally be confident working independently or as part of a team, have strong analytical and organisational skills. An understanding of how to elicit and interpret needs and translate them into clear requirements, objectives and deliverables and experience of leading or managing core technology projects.
