On behalf of a commercial business we are looking to recruit a roaming manager to lead IoT and wholesale roaming activities across international markets. This is a commercially focused telecom role responsible for managing global roaming and eSIM agreements, optimising costs, and ensuring reliable connectivity for IoT and wholesale services.
The role works closely with internal technical and operational teams and involves regular interaction with international mobile operators, connectivity partners, and suppliers. The job can be based in Guernsey, Jersey or the Isle of Man.
Key responsibilities will be to egotiate and manage roaming and eSIM agreements for IoT and wholesale services, manage inter-operator tariffs, discounts, and supplier relationships. Oversee roaming cost forecasts, budgets, and financial reporting, coordinate IREG testing and support resolution of roaming-related issues and monitor developments in roaming, IoT connectivity, eSIM technologies, and GSMA standards.
Required experience is 3–5 years’ experience in telecommunications, ideally in roaming, IoT connectivity, or wholesale. Strong commercial negotiation and contract management skills, good understanding of roaming operations, eSIM / eUICC, and GSMA frameworks. Experience working with roaming platforms such as Roamsys and the ability to work across commercial, technical, and operational teams.
