Establishing a company with the Cayman Islands is a simple procedure. Regardless of the business structure, each company structure must register with the Registrar of Companies. There are three popular business structures to choose from: sole trader, partnership or limited company.

Requirements for employees wishing to relocate

First, you must obtain a job offer, then the process for obtaining a permit will begin. You cannot relocate to the Cayman Islands until the permit to work is approved, but things will move quickly once the permit process begins. The maximum term of the permit to work is now extended from seven to nine years. Anyone who has completed an average of eight years of residency may apply for Permanent Residence.
