The successful candidate will install, test, and commission residential services together with associated wiring systems, telephones and terminals; to train the customers in the use of these systems and services.
In addition to this, the post-holder will be required to work at heights in order to install and repair services which will involve climbing poles and the use of ladders in all weather conditions.
Applicants must have a basic knowledge of cabling systems and techniques and be able to work at heights in order to install and repair services (this role will involve climbing poles and the use of ladders).
A qualification in computer science, engineering or a related field is desirable but not essential and ideally candidates will have experience in a customer service or in an operational environment.
The successful candidate will also have strong analytical and problem solving skills and demonstrate an interest in current and future technology. The post-holder must also hold a current category B driving licence.
