A Senior Network Security Specialist is required for a leading IT company.
Our client is looking for a self-motivated individual who is able to work under their own initiative and with the minimum of supervision providing pre-sales engagement with customers, consultancy and 3rd line support to their ever-increasing customer base. The candidate will need to be confident in their use of IT and skills, as well as being able to demonstrate a commitment to always strive to deliver the highest levels of client service.
Suitable applicants will have knowledge of security technologies and be able to troubleshoot internet connectivity (ping, traceroute, nslookup, ACL's), Understand domain/dc/DNS/DHCP relationship, Understand NAT/PAT and relation to inbound/outbound internet connectivity. You will have experience of working in a security operations centre or equivalent.
