AP Technical are seeking an experienced telecommunications engineer to join our client’s Networks team based on the Falkland Islands. As an access network engineer, you will be required to contribute to all aspects of the Transmission and Provisioning Team. This includes satellite communications, installation and maintenance of the company’s access network infrastructure. The role is a mix of office and field work.
This role will be part of a team of 7, reporting to the Transmission & Provisioning Engineer / Supervisor.
The successful candidate must have experience and knowledge HND or higher in a relevant technical field. Satellite earth station operations and experience in radio systems, data transmission, fibre, copper, networks systems and fixed voice. Strong electrical and mechanical background, including AC and DC. Relocation expenses will be sorted by our client.
