Our client, a provider of business information technology solutions is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its busy Guernsey team, to assume responsibility for the day to day provision of support to customers for a variety of tasks and queries.
This is a challenging role but at the same time exciting and rewarding, key duties will include providing support to a wide variety of customer types who consume IT via traditional, hybrid or cloud models.
Ideally someone who already has 2-3 years' experience in providing business IT support, with Microsoft qualifications or experience would be desirable, who could hit the ground running, but someone with the right attitude and willingness to learn and show commitment would also be considered.
It is a prerequisite that applicants will have strong communication skills and understand what constitutes good customer service and be committed to providing this. It will be important for applicants to have a finger on the pulse of an ever-moving IT landscape and be mindful of all cyber security threats and be prepared to get and stay certified in this area.
