Our client is looking to recruit a Residential Engineer based in Guernsey, working 37.5 hours per week.
The successful candidate will install, test, and commission residential services together with associated wiring systems and equipment. In addition to this, the postholder will be required to work at heights in order to install and repair services which will involve climbing telephone poles and ladders in all weather conditions.
Applicants must have a basic knowledge of cabling systems and techniques and be able to work at heights in order to install and repair services (this role will involve climbing poles and the use of ladders).
Applicants should have prior experience in a customer service or operational environment. The successful candidate will also have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including an interest in current and future technology. The postholder must also hold a current category B driving licence.
