Our client, an investment technology development firm based in New York, is in search of a skilled Quantitative Software Developer to join its Investment Management group. The firm aims to identify market inefficiencies inside and across various asset classes and construct optimal portfolios to maximize utility for their investors. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging working environment.
In this role, you will collaborate closely with portfolio managers, traders, and quants to spearhead the design and implementation of software for our institutional asset management business. Your projects will encompass enhancing the portfolio optimizer, creating innovative analytics tools and platforms, automating straight-through trading, and enhancing overall scalability.
The ideal candidateshould possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a quantitative finance role, with a requirement for multiple-asset class experience. Experience in pre-trade/post-trade analysis and automated straight-through trading is preferred. Direct experience working with portfolio managers, traders, and quants is highly valued. Leadership experience in software initiatives is preferred. Proficiency in Python is a plus.
