On behalf of our client, we are currently looking to recruit a Professional Services Engineer who will oversee, install, test and develop CIIM CPE communications products and services located primarily on customer premises and campus estates. In addition to this, the successful candidate is required to ensure the successful delivery of customer premises communication and application solution requirements in line with group sales, design, transition targets and standards.
Suitable applicants will be expected to possess a sound and solid understanding of telecommunications and application delivery methodologies including; IP Routing, Packet Switching, Voice and Video over IP, Firewall Security, Wired and Wireless LANS, Internet and VPN architectures, MPLS, VPLS, Legacy communications systems and standards, with the minimum requirement to maintain an Associate level qualification in Cisco, Mitel or Microsoft. In addition to this, the successful candidate must have strong organisational skills, along with the ability to multi task involved with adhering to strict timeframes.
Cisco Security or Adaptive Firewall experience is advantageous with the expectation of current or future attainment of the Cisco Certified Security Professional accreditation.
