An investment and technology boutique whose HQ is based in New York is looking to hire a market strategy analyst in its renewable investments division. This role would be based in either our client's New York or Denver offices. Our client is an owner and operator of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will become part of a small, inclusive, highly skilled team.
The role consists of supporting the development of market strategies and new project origination decisions. You will perform comprehensive analyses of electricity market fundamentals to identify attractive markets for renewable energy and energy storage, researching renewable energy demand opportunities. Competitive benchmarking and analysis working closely with investment, financial planning and accounting, and asset management teams to gather and disseminate strategic insights across the organisation.
Candidates should have one to two years experience, as well as capabilities in Excel based or other forms of quantitative analysis with a demonstrated interest in and experience with renewable energy projects.
