Our fin-tech client is a fast-growing, international payments platform business, covering the entire spectrum of payments management. From the processing of various payment types, through to automated analytics of customer behaviour and requirements. All the way up to integrative risk management.
Today they are looking to hire a managing director responsible for overall management of the payments business based in Luxembourg. As the MD you will oversee the design and execution of the strategic plans and business strategy which relates to the customer experience and overall services. This role has direct supervision of all employees and customer activities.
Some of the key responsibilities will be to confer with company executives to plan business objectives, develop organisational policies, and establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Manage HR policies, manage risk associated with payment systems, including operational, compliance and reputation risk, compliance risk.
The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in business management and a minimum of 5 years experience leading a regulated financial entity. You will also have a deep understanding of the payments industry including products and related best practices. Excellent negotiating skills and full knowledge of technical terms. Fluency in English and German is mandatory, abilities in other languages would be advantageous.
The role is based in Luxembourg.
