Working within the Information Technology Team primarily supporting the organisation's business systems. Working with internal users, clients, suppliers and technical resources to ensure that requests and incidents are resolved in a complete and timely manner.
This is a key role working within the organisation's head office. It would be well suited to someone with excellent technical aptitude who is able to learn new systems quickly and wants to add value to a dynamic and successful organisation.
Carrying out 1st line support of user requests and incidents, resolving them where possible and forwarding them on to relevant higher-level resource where necessary;
Second line business system support. Answering standard user queries relating to the core business systems and resolving 1st/2nd level system related issues;
User administration on business systems, Active Directory and other key systems;
Assisting with infrastructure related matters such as desktop and device management.
Calm and confident approach when dealing with users from all levels of the business;
Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook;
Understanding the demands of working in a corporate environment and the importance of timely ticket resolution;
Understanding of technical environments and good technical aptitude.
