Our client is a leader in offshore telecoms and data base solutions. On their behalf we are searching for a driven professional to head up the sales force covering all products under their umbrella.
Candidates should be well versed in the ability to draw up revenue forecasts and targets across a broad spectrum of enterprise products. These could include fixed lines, mobile telecommunications, SME business solutions, Cloud database, Cybersecurity, Managed IT services and new products constantly evolving .
Although likely to be Guernsey based this role will require planning separately for business development approaches tailored to Jersey and the Isle of Man. Travel between these other Islands will be necessary. The anticipated growth in revenue will be expected to come from an increase in market share and growing non-core revenue streams.
The role requires a lot more than merely "selling" the products on offer. There will need to be a co-coordinated approach to customers with clear solutions presented in a timely and market -leading way.
As head of the team, applicants must be able to prioritise and manage their workload, enable personal development to and be responsible for periodic appraisals. Also be responsible for ongoing training and setting targets and budgets to meet sales and product development objectives. You will be seen as an ambassador for the brand so integrity and a high level of professional conduct will be expected.
