A growing IT client are seeking to appoint an Application Support Analyst to work in their Guernsey office. In this post you will provide technical advice, implementation, support and maintenance services and ensure the availability of systems and services, to both internal and external clients.
In this role you will ensure conformity with agreed processes and procedures, ensure client satisfaction regarding the delivered services, provide resource for projects and managed service engagements as directed, assist in the deliver of internal improvement projects, and work towards your own Personal Development Plan.
Interested applicants should have at least 2 years' experience in a similar technical role, as well as previous customer service/facing experience, experience will required of supporting Microsoft server and desktop based operating systems, experience of service level agreements and conformance management, a basic understanding of help and service desk operations within a customer services environment, as well as knowledge and experience of ITIL and other similar quality systems. Experience of reporting is preferred, specifically relating to working with statistics and their presentation.
Our client would like a candidate who can work with the highest level of confidentiality at all times, you will have the ability to undertake tasks promptly, be a problem solver, have a high level of motivation, excellent communication skills, good time and problem management skills, and have an understanding of database terminology, and the ability to read SQL statements.
