A leading local IT consultancy company is in search of Senior IT Consultant to form part of their growing Information Technology team based in Jersey. Main responsibilities includes delivering and meeting clear business objectives set in relation to an upgrade and migration project.
The core focus of this consultancy role is to provide high quality support for business applications within the banking systems division. In addition, this role requires in depth knowledge of data migration, test scripts, knowledge of banking IT system upgrades and risk awareness in relation to breaches of security.
Suitable applicants must have advanced knowledge of Database experience in Oracle/ MySQL/MS SQL Server is a must. Should have good knowledge on RDBMS concepts and be able to develop database scripts for at least one of the above-mentioned databases. Exposure to interface and issue tracking software would also be looked upon favourably.
