A new opportunity has arisen within Consultancy Services for a Senior Data Protection expert to join their expanding team based in Jersey. You will be responsible for monitoring the quality of the data within company systems to ensure that bills are produced accurately. Work with the business and finance to correct data and assist in projects as required to develop controls and reports to monitor data quality.
To ensure that reporting is in place, the successful candidate will take charge of monitoring data quality used in the end to end billing process. This will include consistency checks, data completeness checks etc. Initially these scrutiny checks will be relating to the billing data, but could expand to cover other areas over the longer term. You will also work with the Operations Development team to complete data cleansing projects as and when necessary, along with being able to identify and populate missing data records.
The ideal candidate will have prior data governance, data analysis or data cleansing experience and possess excellent statistical report writing skills. SQL, data quality reporting application experience is also considered to be desirable. Intermediate levels of Microsoft packages including advanced levels of Excel skills is essential. Suitable applicants will have educated to a degree level standard along with experience on operational systems.
