This board level position is working for a new international blockchain company which has recently established its presence in Gibraltar. They will be expanding their presence across Europe.
This is an exciting time to be joining our client. The role will be overseeing and managing the company wide compliance issues within the organisation and shared services environment. Develop compliance strategies with various regulatory requirements and constantly update according to the business' development. Liaise with stakeholders and be responsible for employees training.
You will be responsible for obtaining relevant licence applications and design and update the compliance policies and procedures.
To be suitable for this role you must have gained a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar leadership compliance role. Hold a degree in law, finance or similar is a strong plus. Virtual asset experience is desirable. An excellent knowledge with the Gibraltar Distributed Ledger Technology Regulatory (DLT) Framework. A compliance certificate or qualification is desirable. Good relations with the GFSC, FCA and other regulatory bodies.
