Leading Interactive Media & Marketing Company with offices in London and Paris is looking for a
Ruby on Rails Developer, to be based in Cyprus, preferably in Nicosia.
The job involves the development and maintenance of existing Ruby applications for the French
company.
The ideal candidate, will be working from home, and will require daily interaction by phone and Skype
with the London and Paris offices.
Minimum travelling will be required.
Required Skills:
* 1- 2 years Ruby on Rails experience, preferably in a commercial environment
* Experience with OO languages
* Advanced CSS and XHTML knowledge
* Excellent knowledge of Javascript and jQuery
* Comfortable with Git
* Good communication skills
* Understanding of MVC
Desired Skills:
* French speaker will be a plus
* Capistrano Experience
* Experience working with Unix/Linux platform
* Experience with TDD
* Understanding of Agile methodologies, web standards, RSS, XHTML, JSON.
* SOAP API implementation
* Experience with cloud-based architecture and secure REST API's

* Good organizational and time management skills
* Able to work as part of a team and unsupervised
* Good level of communication with people at all levels
