Senior Programme / Project Manager
Exciting opportunity for experienced project manager demonstrating a proven track record in managing multiple concurrent, complex projects in investment banking environments to take a pivotal management role & be part a large multi-asset ecommerce trading system development team within a Greenfield environment that is distributed over Singapore/London.Duties: -
*Co-ordinate front office/development teams/service providers/management & test teams to deliver solutions within tight timescales
*Develop structured approach to software delivery
*Align development of ecommerce products & participate in ecommerce system requirements gathering
*Manage dependencies of all technical deliverables
*Engage QA teams to enforce rigorous quality standards
*Deliver structured development program complying to bank's methodology & drive enhancements where appropriate
*Advocate best practice for release/change management practices for multiple stream developments
*Take ownership & manage the project plan, financials, projections, issue/dependency tracking, resourcing & timescales
*Advocate delivery excellence, minimise delivery risk & ensure application release quality
*Build relationships with key stakeholders/Business/Fellow internal & external development managers & Infrastructure teams etc
*Ensure timely and clear communications to the stakeholder community
Pre requisite skills: -
*Demonstrate rigorous approach to management of development methodology
*Proven leadership ability to co-ordinate staff management & work with vendors & internal teams co-ordinating many dependencies & multiple demanding stakeholders in complex, large-scale deployment environments
*Proven experience working in Financial Markets with prior exposure to Fixed Income business (FX, Bonds and IRS)
*Previous experience of managing large $15m to $20m projects & managing project teams of up to 40 people
Demonstrate knowledge of all aspects of software design/development, project, service & financial management
