Asset Control Software Developer
A prestigious International banking group requires an experienced programmer to work as part of the Asset Control Software Development team, based in Singapore.Key Requirements:
*The role holder will be required to analyse requirements, write specifications, design and build software
*The work covers project work, book of work enhancements, and 2nd line development support for the Production system and is very much a hands-on programming role
*Analysis
*Specification writing
*Testing
*Software design and build
*Responsible to deliver quality deliverables that reduce incidents, and operational risk
Person Specification:
*Must demonstrate strong knowledge of UNIX, Shell Scripting, Perl and Asset Control
*Investment Banking knowledge - preferably with Reference Data would be advantageous
*Analysis, Documentation, and Testing skills essential
*The successful applicant must be capable of and have good knowledge of UNIX script, program Asset Control Formula Engine, and DB stored procedures/SQL
*Demonstrate excellent problem solving, and analytical skills
*Possess strong written, and oral communication skills
