Temenos T24 Senior Technical Consultant (Miami, Florida) - USA
Overview of role:
The position will specialise in the Temenos T24 core system and consequently provide technical consulting and implementation support.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
~ Participate in designing, planning and implementation of overall T24 architecture
~ Provide key support on implementation projects related to generic technical processes, depending on the consultant’s knowledge and the specific technical procedures of the client
~ Develop solutions to gaps between clients’ requirements against our clients topologies, architecture and technologies standard solutions (customisation, additional developments, and change in system models)
~ Provide basic technical training required by consultants and Client IT team on T24
~ Maintain effective communication with the client and other personnel
~ Participate in T24 configuration and other Temenos-related products
~ Participate in functional User Application Testing, and support go live operation
Knowledge, skills and ability:
~ Ideally, bachelor or master degree in computer science, information technology or a related field
~ Comprehensive experience (at least 3 years) in technical implementation in the banking/finance industry
~ Extensive experience in designing, planning and implementation of the overall system architecture (i.e. hardware/network configurations and system integration)
~ Ideally fluent in the following: DB2, Oracle, JBase
~ Should understand branch banking
~ Good communication and presentation skills
~ Good command of English and Spanish
~ Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
~ Excellent attention to detail
~ Extensive travel entailed; may necessitate extended stays away from home office
~ Stress resistant and team player
