Temenos T24 Senior Business Consultant (Miami, Florida) - USA
Overview of the role:
To provide functional application and banking expertise, specifically in the areas of retail products, derivatives, treasury, securities, asset management, lending products, accounting and trade finance, as well as in the installation of banking software applications within the client’s operation, and related support.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
~ To provide support for implementation projects related to generic business processes, depending on the consultant’s knowledge and the specific business procedures of the client
~ To review client requirements against Temenos T24 functionalities and recommend solutions (customisation, additional developments and changes in working procedures)
~ To co-operate with the CS senior consultant in recommendation of best banking practices, in line with legal and business requirements
~ Involvement in Temenos T24 configuration and other Temenos-related products
~ To participate in functional user application testing and to support go-live operation
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
~ Banking systems experience is essential, preferably gained within a package systems environment
~ Good communication and presentation skills
~ In-depth understanding of financial and banking processes
~ IT orientation: knowledge of banking software applications and excellent MS Office skills, particularly PowerPoint and Excel
~ The ability to travel extensively, possibly necessitating extended periods away from home
~ An excellent command of English and Spanish is required
~ The ability to handle pressure and work effectively as part of a team
