Business Solutions Senior Consultant - Islamic Banking - Singapore
Overview of role:
To work with the sales and presales teams and provide consultancy and product solution support including presentations and demonstrations to win.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
~ Undertake business consultancy activities with prospects to understand the business needs and
drivers for change and position TEMENOS’ solutions
~ Talk about Islamic Banking from an Islamic principle/scholar perspective
~ Support the sales team in the qualification of a solution fit for a bank’s requirements
~ Responsible for RFP/RFI responses quickly and professionally
~ Having a detailed knowledge of the functionality and technology of the product range
~ Ensuring that all materials such as presentations and demonstrations are maintained up to date
~ Build on banking knowledge and product knowledge to support, go market the products and programs
~ Construct and deliver presentations to clients and prospects
~ Demonstrations (including creation of product data used to demo product capability)
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
~ Islamic Banking knowledge and expertise is a must;
~ Experience gained from either a software vendor or the Islamic Banking division of banks
~ Product Knowledge (ability to answer in-depth questions and make detailed presentations on the solution) about Islamic Banking
~ Good communication and presentation skills
~ Consultative and solution approach
~ Ability to work under time pressure
~ Professional degree (e.g. MBA)
~ Experience in a solution / presales role in other banking solution providers or as an operational role in a bank or else in a consulting environment. Experience in a front-end client facing role is a must.
~ Willing to travel on a very frequent basis
