T24 Systems Architect - Singapore
Overview of the role:
The function of this role is to facilitate provision of technical implementation services for APAC clients for a leading provider of integrated modular core banking systems. The role will enable the company to meet clients’ expectations while achieving extra value from current clients who are moving forward with new T24 technology.
Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- To provide technical design services for T24 installations, which will encompass network architecture including web-based components, hardware configuration, consultation on current security standards, resilience techniques and best practices for T24 across each of these domains.
- Involvement with pre-sales in the determination of a suitable technical landscape for the deployment of T24
- Consultation with clients during the implementation stage of T24 to ensure that industry standards for performance and security are met
- Close co-operation and involvement with contemporaries, the T24 development team and clients
This is a senior consulting role with no current staff responsibility; however, the ability to mentor junior staff is expected.
Knowledge, skills and abilities:
- Familiarity with current industry standards for networking and the role of security within a large multi-disciplined framework
- Knowledge of Java and .Net would be advantageous
- The ability to present company policy, designs and approaches to senior staff within the company and external organisations is mandatory
- A computing degree and experience of systems implementation in a large financial organisation would be distinctly beneficial
The role involves extensive travel
Performance will be measured by client satisfaction, delivered system performance and mentoring capability.
